# Supreme Court allows military transgender ban to take effect

Not sure the determining issue is Civil Rights, versus SCOTUS long policy of deference in matters pertaning to the discipline and functioning of the armed forces.

Not entirely clear, but while the case works its way through the courts they should be kicked out of the military.
