Only passed the Senate. Still has a ways to go. After not even getting the tax breaks for the rich right.
On the momentum of Obama saving the economy.
God forbid there’s a square inch of nature left. Profits, you know.

This simply sets aside the injunction from the 9th circuit. The various challenges are still moving through the court system. This isn’t a final ruling by any means.

I’m not sure if this has been a habit of yours in other forums or if you are doing this more often. Or maybe I just happened read a few in a row. Regardless, stop with the contentless OPs with nothing more than links to a news story and a regurgitation of the headline. If you don’t feel strongly enough about a subject to add your own opinion then don’t open a thread on the subject. No warning but if I see any more OPs like this I will be closing them at the very least.

The Hawaii judge pushed his luck. An earlier iteration of the travel ban made it to the Supremes and they let it go into effect in part and kicked it back with some limitations which permitted those with certain bona fide connections to not be impacted by the ban.
The new version of the travel ban went before the same judge in Hawaii and he enjoined the entire damn thing. Probably should have followed the earlier high court limits instead.

Sorry, I won’t make a habit of it any longer. In past threads, when I shared my opinion in the OP I was accused of “poisoning the well”, so my practice had been to attempt to share just the facts in the OP and inject my personal thoughts on the matter later in the thread.
