Say hello to a woman with PMS. Reply to a post here using only the phrase, “That’s not true”. Control the conversation by interrupting anyone trying to get a word in edgewise. Tell racist jokes in the company of that race. Take the opposite position of somebody with strong political/religious beliefs. Let your dog shit on somebody’s lawn while they are watching. Look inside someone’s parked car and check to see if the door is unlocked. Point a gun at someone, pull the trigger and hear the click. Laugh at them and say you knew it wasn’t loaded. ---

I don’t think you meant offense, you’re just simple. Not that it matters, but I average 2.4 posts per day on this, the only message board I frequent. I think I spend more than enough time doing other things, and believe it or not, having a sense of humor is not equivalent to thinking Themis is funny. Not even close. ---

1. Respond to a quoted remark mocking you without any obvious attempt to be intentionally humorous with an irrelevant “LOL!” 2. Defend your posts on a message board by arguing that people who post on message boards are losers who need to get out more. 3. Be stupid on the SDMB. Hmmm, how to say something without getting flamed by anyone. Regarding black people and swimming…in MY hometown (in south Georgia)…a good portion of the black people I knew growing up could not swim, and some were even downright terrified to get in a pool or in the ocean (my hometown is an hour south of Savannah, and on the coast.) I was told when I was a senior in high school by a black guy that was in band and debate with me that “black people don’t swim”. We were in Boca Raton, FL for a debate trip, and in the pool at a nice hotel there. He was hugging the wall, and taller than the deepest part of the pool. While the OP’s comment was in poor taste, it does SEEM that there is _some_ truth in the statement, depending on who you ask. **Disclaimer** I do NOT believe that people can’t swim because of what color they are.
