Although I loved the jokes some previous posters made, the actions of this woman were absolutely reprehensible. Under NO circumstances did she have the right to violate the privacy of students in such a way. It’s my opinion that any teacher who was a party to this in any way should be fired - no chance for a “resignation.” As an aside, what the hell is wrong with the students? If a teacher even asked what kind of undergarments I’m wearing at school I would have contacted the administration and make sure disciplinary action was taken. It boggles the mind that they would passively allow their undies to be inspected. Blargh. ---

School administrators can be really fucked up. The other day I heard about our new principal bitching at a girl for braiding another girl’s hair in the hall before school. The principle apparently said that braiding is not allowed in the halls and got even more pissed off when one of the girls asked where that rule was stated. Of course the principle just walked away instead of admitting she was wrong since it’s obvious that there is no such rule. I could start a nice long pit thread about this woman’s actions but not tonight. ---

I just have to say one thing: In all the school dances I’ve been to, or even _heard_ of, I’ve never seen any guy dressed in a toga. This really is a violation of civil rights. You wanna search 'em for weapons? Fine. Use a metal detector. You wanna search 'em for drugs? Fine. Use a dog. Underwear? C’mon. . . Tripler I should’ve worn a toga. 😃 ---

**SPOOFE,** I believe you are on to something. Thong underwear reminds me of the sling that David used to slay Goliath. Such undergarments would also be easy enough to transform into garrottes. It is clear that we are already overrun with weapon wearing women. As good, God-fearing men, we have a duty to hunt them down and confiscate those weapons. In all cases, though, we must eschew the use of violence and rely, instead, on our charm so that the women in question will willingly surrender those weapons. Yes, “weapon wearing women” would be a good band name, or so I think–feel free to use it as you like. ---

When I was at New Rochelle High School 1957-60, the gym teachers insisted that we wear jock straps. Every so often they’d go through the entire lined-up class and check to see if we were wearing underwear instead of an athletic protector. The guilty boys had to walk over to a spot in front of the class, take off their underpants, and hang them up on a hook. This practice was acceptible back then, I’m sorry to say. ---

My old English teacher went to an all-girls Convent high school in Birmingham, England in the eighties. They were excused swimming lessons if they were menstruating. But in order to prove this, they had to let the nuns check. :eek: ---

The best part of that story was where it said the girls had to partially undress to prove that they were wearing bras. Now, if you can’t tell whether a girl is wearing a bra or not without making her undress, then what fucking difference does it make? ---

A relative of mine plays high school baseball. His coach has taken it upon himself to decide that he will hit the boys on the team in the crotch to determine whether or not they’re wearing their cups to practice. I thought that was a bit sick when I first heard about it, but this underwear thing is even worse. ---
