I disagree in part. I agree he is a grenade, but that is not incompatible with the idea he’s a puppet - behind every grenade there’s someone deciding roughly where to throw it, and who gets first aid afterward etc. I’m not an expert on political puppets throughout history, but I suspect plenty have had at least _some_ personal agency. He’s a puppet to the extent that he’s indirectly manipulable to a degree that is useful to his masters. He does pretty much exactly what Putin wants. He’s doing pretty much everything those behind Project 2025 want, while his grenades keep everyone distracted. ---

She and Murkowski piss me off the most, perhaps. Because they’ve come right out and said that they know how terrible Trump is, but do nothing. You know, it really isn’t hard to imagine Collins being replaced with a Democrat. You’d think she would know that. ---
