I think when you’ve got two guys whose egos have their own gravity, one of them will find a reason to expel the other. Musk may not even last a Scaramucci in the new administration. If Senor Droolcup even manages to remember to implement sweeping tariffs and thus create a spike in inflation, your average MAGAbot will not hesitate to find a way to blame Democrats for the shitstorm his vote created. Hard times are coming, and I think the harder the better. The pattern is clear, Republicans make a mess, Democrats clean it up, voters turn on Democrats. ---

A dozen eggs cost around three dollars in 2024. Two years from now, the Republicans are running for re-election and the price of a dozen eggs is around four dollars. What do the Republicans do? They say that the price of eggs was five dollars in 2024 and they’ve successfully brought it down to only four dollars. And don’t believe any liberal lies that eggs cost three dollars in 2024. That’s just a conspiracy against the Republicans. ---

I still don’t get how stupid people can be thinking their tips won’t be taxed. (We’ve been through this in other threads, like added gratuity.) They interviewed some fuckwads on CNN at the UFC fight, claiming that was their reason for voting for him. Two twenty-somethings that are bar back, servers and bussers.(They claim their main news is from Joe Rogan.) So how will they blame Dems for this when it DOESN’T happen? ---
