The ancestors of the Navajo and Apache came from Alaska. I wouldn’t blame them for not wanting to move to Alaska; it’s cold. ---

There is also the little detail that Alaska is now occupied by people other than the Navajo and Apache, who probably don’t want a bunch of people completely unfamilar with the area dumped on them. ---

I’ll just add that I’m a little surprised the ICE guys are competent enough to find a woman who overstayed her visa decades ago. They must have quite a good database. ---
