I’d say you can’t make us, because Musk lost his SA citizenship when he naturalized as an American. But unfortunately our highest court just ruled the law that made that happen unconstitutional. (A good ruling in general but unfortunate as applied to Elon.) ---

I have a Trump voting family member who has been working for NASA on unmanned spaceflight missions for a long time. Boy was I naive You were under a misimpression: the American way was to NOT go after former Presidents to “grind them down”, no matter what, ex-POTUSes don’t go to jail. Gerald Ford put it for the record and Mitch McConnell reaffirmed it. At most we mildly inconvenience them like Clinton losing his law license when he no longer needed it. You go away, we leave you alone in peace. That was part of the “unwritten gentlemen’s agreements” that were the real glue holding things together until we got a crew in power who did not want to even pretend they played by gentlemanly rules. ---
