That’s what I’m talking about: _The West Wing_ has brainwashed a generation of liberals. Not only into thinking we should strive to compromise with fascists, but that kindness will defeat fascism.
Kindness did not defeat Nazi Germany. Kindness will not defeat MAGA. All they respect is power. We will never win their votes, no matter how kind we might strive to be.
If all they receive is our shame and ridicule, they should count themselves lucky. I’ll save my kindness for those they have marginalized.

This. You don’t even need to go to Nazi Germany; just look at the history of the US. Slavery took a civil war to deal with, de-segregation needed threats of force to impose, same-sex marriage was legalized against their adamant objections and they still don’t accept it. The Right is never _convinced,_ only _forced._ The only question is the level of force that needs to be used, not that coercion is the only solution for dealing with them. It’s _always_ the only solution.

[“AI” is disproportionately trained on images of white men](https://news.mit.edu/2018/study-finds-gender-skin-type-bias-artificial-intelligence-systems-0212), and so has a known bias for rendering people who look white and male. Both in showing them more, and doing it better.
