I used the other box at the time. Retreivers and other bird dogs would have worked for my lab.
I echo the N/A box on many of the questions. The only time my dog is leashed is to go to the vet. He has a large country spread to run, which he did as a pup. Now it’s “I did my doody so I ain’t leaving this porch” squirrel an old age thing.
I had to think about the training questions since there wasn’t a box for: She’s an old mellow lady, there’s really not much training to do.
JcWoman: I’m guessing you aren’t selling many (if any) edible items in your product line. However, it might be more useful to replace the question about “how much do you spend annually on dog food?” (the answer to which I could only guess) with something like:
Which of these do you regularly feed your dog? (check all that apply):
- Food you prepare from scratch specifically for the animal
- Table scraps
- Commercial mass-market dog food (Purina, Pedigree, etc.)
- Commercial higher-end dog food (Blue Buffalo, Orijen, etc.)
- Brushing chews, other healthy treats
- Reward treats (for doing tricks, staying quiet, etc.)
- Indulgent “just because” treats (doggy cookies, doggy doughnuts, etc.)
