There’s NO WAY he found the immunity idol without clues and without even freaking knowing there was definitely an immunity idol in this season. I call shenanigans. I want no spoilers, but does anyone know if these people get any less _ **assy** _ as this season goes on? Because, man, it takes a special person to look like a bigger yutz than Stanley Zborn … I mean, Russell H., and tonight there were two, maybe three of them. I am telling you, guys: I _can’t_ keep having these episodes where Jeff looks like the sensible voice of reason (even if his rules _were_ kind of “sissy”). The mind, she boggles. ---

They never do a very good job of hiding them and it’s always a very obvious spot. Plenty of people have found them with the first very vague clue. ---

Well, I had Mike going home on my fantasy league and he did, but he wasn’t voted out. Second week and already we need “a ruling”. Fuckity, I liked Betsy. Ben is gonna screw y’all over, because now not only does his team barely tolerate him but Yasmin (thought it was funny how Russell called her his homegirl but pronounced her name wrong) is going to blast him to her tribemates too. Hantz will claim credit for Betsy’s ouster even though she was targetted before the challenge even began. Yuck. My pick to win, Jaison, seems to butt heads with Hantz next week. Yay! That Sears commercial with the ousted person’s family that runs right after TC? Who the hell though that up? As the evictions get more significant and emotional it’ll only get worse. ---

There’s is a lot of people to dislike this season. Jasmine is bad, but Ben is terrible. Russell, yeech!. I still don’t know the people on the purple tribe, except Jasmine is a loud-mouth and Shambo is careless. And guess what, there are fish in the ocean! almost as many as trees in the forest! I love a good snarky comment. That should have been the title of the episode. There was not as much as pixelation and blurrifying in the challenge. So nasty Russell has purple tribe’s HII. is it valid in his hands or does some purple tribe member have to use it? ---

I don’t think the idol was for the purple tribe, Jasmine just got a clue to where it was, if she wanted to look for it or tell someone on the yellow team about it. Once she went back to her own team it’s not like any other purple person could look for it. Russell may be an ass, but that was admittedly very smart for him to look for the idol, and when he found it, it did make the rest of his teammates look pretty stupid. And Jasmine is a loud-mouthed bitch. I hate when they have to have one character be the stereotypical head-shaking trash-talking ghetto Black female. I hope she’s not long for this game. ---

That reminds me – what does “this Idol cannot be taken from you” mean? Seriously. Russ hid the idol near where he found it, right? So if someone else finds it, does that mean it still belongs to Russ, or what? I thought that could be a reference to the stealing of the HII in a previous season (that _did_ happen, right? Or did I jusr right now make that up?). I’m probably a total “rules lawyer,” but someone finding a re-hidden HII did not technically _take_ it from anyone else. Or did they? Then again, I am SO CONFUSED by Jeff being rational that up is down and white is black and I’m not sure whether to crap or wind my watch. ---

It just means that people can’t rifle through your stuff and swipe the HI. I really don’t know why the producers bother to even select people like Mike. That’s as stupid as selecting **me** for competition. They know the pace is going to be brutal. Russell the asshole must die. Coach was entertaining. Russell is a douche. ---

Hantz is Russell Hantz, as opposed to Russell Swan over on the Invisible Purple Tribe. I’m trying to start an Internet meme wherein we reserve the perfectly nice name Russell for the perfectly nice guy Russell Swan and just call the other dude Hantz. I’m not digging the show this season. It’s become a cross between Big Brother and the Bitchy Housewives of Atlanta. I like the strategizing and gameplay, not over-the-top personalities. It better get back to the game and lose the drama or I’m out. ---

I’m still very startled about the blatant racism that I heard: “ghetto bitch”, “you need to go back where you came from!”. I haven’t heard talk like that in 20 years, and I’m well aware of what it means – its not just a reaction to how she was acting (which I would agree was very condescending). Those words mean “you don’t belong here” because of your race. ---

I’ve always thought there’s been some casting magic done - Johnny Fairplay, Coach etc were not quite man-on-the-street types. But this is the first season where I can’t help but see a scripted Survivor. I don’t see Russell as a Survivor contestant, but rather a scripted character. The argument between the white guy and the black woman seemed rehearsed. I hope I’m wrong and the season will sort itself out, but something seems to stink right now. ---
