“Rupert is half the fun of the show for me. But what is it about him that we all like so much?” Maybe that he is the only one that looks like he hasn’t lost weight? I did see a profanity in the closed captions, that was neat that it got through. ---

I wonder if Jeff had actually just said “it’s all about will power” right before Osten gve up or if they edited the line in later for effect. Either way, another fine performance by the big guy. For God’s sake, man, you couldn’t carry more weight than Crista? Andrew, on the other hand, deserves full credit for the Drake win. He obviously was suffering, but he knew how important the win was even if he himself wasn’t in danger of being voted off this week. Assuming the merger happens in the next episode, both tribes will be trying to figure out who the weak links are. The Drakes, surprisingly, have an advantage. None of them are too alienated from the tribe; even Darrah the most “outside” of them seems fairly solid. The Morgans, on the other hand, have two weak links; Jon and Shawn. Both realize they’re vulnerable on Morgan, both have been willing to jump alliances already, and both are kinda stupid. A little Drake sweet talk and either could go. If it goes to a tie vote and they use the past vote tiebreaker, Crista, Osten, and Rupert all have two, and Darrah and Shawn have one. The two tribes will probably choose Tijuana and Sandra as their designated decoys. As for the preview I’m guessing past tribe members will return and participate in the reward challenge. The players looked too shocked for it to just be a repeat of old challenges. Maybe it’ll be a trivia challenge. ---

**Fiver** , Balboa was not a sea snake. He was a boa constrictor (Bal-BOA! Get it? Huh? Huh? Get it? :D) and was in all likelihood a castaway himself, falling out of a tree into the drink either on one of the other islands or the mainland, and being carried out to sea on the current. It would explain his injuries and general ill-health when Rupert found him. I’m pretty sure the only ocean-going snakes are relatives of cobras, with deadly venom and a kind of vertically flattened tail. And mostly live in southeast Asian and Australian waters. Rupert’s raised enough reptiles to know the difference between a boa and a sea snake. ---

And wait 'til you see how they change the game…” The video shows previously booted contestants actually competing in a challenge – there are THREE bamboo cages, one decorated in Morgan’s blue color with the Morgan tribe standing in front of it, one with Drake’s orange color and the Drakes in front of it, and one decorated in lavender/purple and the booted contestants standing in front of it. A later snippet shows Trish screaming “GOOOOOO!!” There are also reactions and comments from the remaining contestants, as well. [/spoiler] F\*ck! But damn this is a great season! ---

I am tiring of Rupert and all his “my” quotes. They’d all be really smart to vote him off as quickly as possible. Goodbye Rup! Now that Sandra, is she one angry chick or what? Talk about a “negative nancy.” After last night’s show, I’m beginning to really like Andrew, Ryan O. and Christa (don’t you think she’s a dead ringer in actions and voice for Dharma from the TV show?) Of course, I’ve always loathed Jon, Osten and Shawn. Damn I miss looking at Burton…bring back the eye candy! ---

Well, as for the “past will come back to haunt you” thing, I’m thinking more literal here, and I’m guessing it has something to do with halloween. I know the show was taped way before, but I’m sure the producers had the air date already worked out and planned for this. ---

What I’ve never understood is the idea of people “stabbing you in the back” in this game. If Trish had been successful in her coup, would she be a backstabber? No, she’d be playing the game the way you’re supposed to play it. It’s not the Let’s Help Rupert Win game. Rupert has no more right to stick around than anyone else…and he shouldn’t forget that without Sandra his ass would have been up a creek. If he had been kicked out, it would have been fair, plain and simple. All the histrionics are uncalled for. ---

Maybe it’s because they haven’t lacked for food as much this season, but I kinda wondered why no one thought about killing “pete” for food. He was a pretty good sized piece of meat and I think you could feed everyone off of him. I don’t know, maybe I’m just a psycho or something. ---
