# Survivor 11/13 - why do I care? I really liked Rupert until a couple of weeks ago. But that tirade against Jon pissed me off. Now, personally I hate Jon and think he’s a slimy little weasel who should be fed to the stingray’s, but Rupert’s outburst bordered on physical intimidation, which is bullshit in my opinion. And again tonight he said something about threatening to kill someone if they betrayed him. That crap just is wrong. Now this is coming from me, a guy who looks to most people just like Rupert, but has maybe a couple inches of heigth, a couple inches of beard, fourty pounds of fat, and 15 pounds of muscle on him. But I am more sensitive than most about this matter. And I have gone through a hell of a lot of shit from people who think I am trying to intimidate them, and get a bunch of guys together to kick my ass. It really pissed me off that he tried that intimidation crap with his size and presence… Okay I’m going to stop now before I turn get this thread sent into the pit with a further personal rant, but that lost me all respect for him. ---

I don’t know if anyone here remembers, but MB mentioned in an interview before the season began that Drake often LIED during private confessionals, “They were playing the game against ME!” was his exact quote. Which is why I don’t know if I buy Sandra and Christa scheming against Rupert. ---

Keep in mind that you only see the schemes that the producer wants you to see. The fact that everyone voted for Ryan is still a big coup for Rupert. ---

**Ferrous** got mine – it was odd that Darrah and Tijuana voted Ryan O off. Clearly there is something afoot which was not explained. Here’s guessing that the vote and, perhaps, Christa’s insane tirade against the working habits of 3/7’s of the soon to be jury makes sense as some kind of a wig and beard for a new “girl-power” alliance. These folks probably started the game knowing the last Survivor they saw the tribes were split by sex – maybe they had prepared for that (I would have). If so, Rupert better be the next to go. Can you imagine living with him after the girls betray him? ---

As far as the number of episodes, I think someone mentioned in an earlier thread that perhaps we won’t get the lame recap clip episode this season to make up for the reassimilation of Burton and Lill. ---

Heck, my son - the military/piracy buff, was screaming **"Pieces of Eight aren’t coins - They are PIECES of coins. Sheesh!"** You’d think that at 14 years of age he’d realize that he outpaced the maturity/intelligence level of most of TV’s target audience maybe a decade ago. I was thinking it could be really ugly if folks try, but fail to oust Rupert. A little outright physical intimidation does not seem beyond him. Anyone think there is a greater than zero percent chance Rupert actually goes after that shark? ---

As for the episode, it’s clear that Rupert rules the roost. Even if Sandra and Christa were lying about scheming against him, Burton, Jon, Ryan, Tijuana, Darrah & Lill were plenty of votes to get rid of him. Yet when they had the perfect opportunity to do so (this was the one game where they literally got to _choose_ who was going to get immunity), they completely blew it. And I just want to punch Lill in the face. That woman is an utter disgrace to this game. ---

Rupert MUST go and please no TV endorsement deals…I can see him with his own sappy TV Talk Show much like that garbage that Dr. Phil spews out. Christa? Oh come on folks, she’s an idiot. Sandra, What a bitchy gal that one is. Lil, quit your whinning and stupid little faces. Jon, still loathing him since episode one. Darrah, I’m a native Southerner and I still need subtitles to understand her…nice tan though! Tijuana, she’s just kinda there, but way smarter than Christa. And then’s Burton, sent down from heaven for us all to enjoy his manly beauty…maybe not the brightest bulb in the group…but who cares just stay half naked Burton and smile!😛 ---

It is a silver coin which had an original value of 8 “reals”. You should be able to find a picture by doing a Google image search. ---

And I’d bet you the million dollar prize that Rupert’s a much better lover than Burton could ever hope to be. What makes a man sexy isn’t necessarily big ol’ biceps. ---
