Parvati irks me. More last night than at any point in the season. I just plain dislike her. I’m sure she’s a wonderful person in the real world, but in Survivorland, I’m glad she’s off my screen. I found myself wondering during the balance beam challenge (since it was clear from the start who the winner would be) if they provide the men with cups before sending them to do that. Seriously. People on Amazing Race get helmets when they have to rappel, I think it would really be in the show’s best interest to prevent somebody suing them because they lost the ability to procreate thanks to a balance beam. The biggest threat “on paper.” Heh heh. One thing I really love about Jeff is his ability to be a complete dick. But that bit about the hat was uncalled for. Although I tend to think that Jeff _wanted_ Yul to get credit for that. I don’t know how it turned into the kerfluffle it did–he brought a hat. So the hell what? It was the nice thing to do, and I think that way down at the bottom, Yul was originally motivated by that. I noticed for the first time last night that Becky is an attorney. That’s how much I care about Becky, I suppose. And is anybody else of the opinion that Candace is the first Survivor to look better in the game than she does on the jury? She seemed much prettier when she was suffering, I guess. ---

I like how the promos labeled the remaining survivors: Yul: “The Brain” Ozzy: “The Dominator” Adam: “The Underdog” Becky: “The Crafty One” Sundra: “The Heart” The Heart? Did “Under the Radar, Coattail Rider” not fit? ---

There’s no way we, the home viewers, can know exactly how the whole “who brought the hat and why” thing went down, but I too was struck by Jeff’s intervention into the situation and it’s inclusion in the show. Something interesting to remember is that the producer and his staff know who the winner is before they sit down to start editing the first episode. Given this, one can’t help but wonder if the returning of the hat will play a crucial roll in the final voting. ---

Oh and re Jeff’s comment that there was to be no interaction among the jury and the Survivors? Then tell Nate to quit rolling his eyes and making fist pumps when something goes his way. I hope Yul wins because it’s time a geek won the final. Besides, I think that in real life, he’s probably a nice guy even though at the moment he’s drunk with power. If Yul doesn’t win, then I hope Ozzy wins. Then Becky. Then Sundra. I don’t know where Adam falls in my line-up. On the one hand, he’s dumber than a box of rocks and can be irritating as hell. However, he’s been an underdog now for several votes and he’s still around so that wins some points in his favor. But then the jury’s stacked in his favor and I’m not into giving a guy a million bucks just because luck put him on the Eeyore team… I’m pretty sure that he’s got Pavrati, Candice and Nate’s vote locked up. I guess I’d put Adam 5th, but I have a sinking feeling that he’ll win it all if he’s one of the final 3. ---

[/QUOTE] That’s actually a good point–if it’s Ozzy, Yul and Adam in the final 3, and they go to a F2 vote, Ozzy has to decide whether he can beat Yul, who has played the people game phenomenally well, or Adam, who has lots of friends on the jury. ---

[/QUOTE] It probably _wouldn’t_ be a hard choice for Ozzy, actually, because as someone already mentioned upthread, he doesn’t have a brain injury: he’d take Yul. Except for Brad, Rebecca, and Jenny, Yul had a hand in getting _everyone else_ on the Jury _onto_ the Jury. Of course, so did _Ozzy_, but because Jeff is a doofus, all the Jury is going to remember is “Yul is the mastermind who had this great big strategy to get rid of every one of you personally with his one single vote” and “Ozzy is the stud who won every single challenge and single-handedly saved planet from the worst scum the Universe.” I have to say, this season more than ever, Jeff is a _giant_ jackass. He _can’t keep his mouth shut_, and I really think he is influencing the players more than he ought to. In challenges, he keeps shouting out everyone’s strategy, and it’s kind of obnoxious. I mean, if you’re Ozzy, and your strategy is basically to swim really fast and not fall down, then it’s OK – “Ozzy, making short work of the obstacle course with his long lean legs” – but if you’re Yul, and you help your tribe win Immunity because you figure out a different way to spot the target for the cannonball, then it’s kind of a problem – “Yul is using the viewfinder, wonder if that will help?” _Hmm_ … if I didn’t know better, I’d think that (a) Jeff is jealous of Yul, and that (b) Jeff has a man-crush on Ozzy. > [@Draelin](#): > > Silly **jayjay**. Good episode, considering the low probability for surprises. I think Yul made a wise move in choosing Parvati (even though I said last week he should go after Adam). She’s actually better, all around, at the challenges than Adam is-- witness her performance last night. Also, it breaks up a potential chick-alliance sometime down the road. But Adam is suddenly in a pretty powerful position. His move should be to approach Ozzy and Sundra to convince them to vote off Becky. Yul is untouchable in the next IC, but they can weaken him considerably in the IC after that by getting rid of his strongest ally. Then, going into the FF, if Yul doesn’t win IC he gets booted. Ozzy and Sundra must know that Yul is tighter with Becky than with either of them, so this is their best shot to get the F3, without Yul. So, Does Yul anticipate this and secretly give Becky the HII before tribal council next week (assuming she doesn’t win the IC)? I think he needs to consider that option \*\*very \*\*seriously. It’s interesting how the producers haven’t shown any discussion among the remaining Survivors about the jury situation and the fact that something different has to happen. There’s no way they haven’t figured that out and talked about it. I guess they want to save the “surprise” for the finale. Can’t wait 'til Sunday-- this is going to be good! ---
