We’ve made it to the end game. I guess there’s not much left to say, except: Cochran is the only one left who actually played the game - I hope he wins. And: Happy Mother’s Day! ---

I’ve just posted this in the thread for last week. I’ve edited it here to remove things specific to that thread. Note that there _might_ be a spoiler in there, based on the preview at the end of last week’s show; but I’m not using a spoiler box because the preview was broadcast and I presume everyone has seen it or is aware of it. Who would his competition be in the final TC? Dawn? An unstable follower who was only kept around because she voted how the leaders wanted her to. Sherri? I don’t think she ever made any ‘big plays’ on her own. Another coat tail rider. Erik? Likeable enough, but not an intellectual powerhouse. Eddie? The Man Without Hope. He might win the TC just because he made it that far. I said Cochran hadn’t pissed off too many people; but they might be mad enough to vote for Eddie just because. I think the other players know they don’t stand a chance against Cochran, so they must get rid of him. > > It seems clear someone leaves the game unexpectedly. Erik was weak and took a fairly serious risk climbing the palm tree, but he ate well after that. I don’t see him doing something silly and injuring himself, but it might happen. Any of the remaining five might be evacuated if stricken by a random piece of bad luck. Maybe one of them is bitten by a venomous snake or arthropod. Maybe someone gets a bad case of food poisoning. Maybe someone stumbles in the dark and breaks a bone. Barring accidents though, it seems that the most likely candidate would be Dawn because of her fragile mental state. > > So let’s assume that Cochran is voted out. Let’s assume Dawn is evacuated. That leaves Erik, Eddie, and Sherri. Erik and Sherri can claim that they were ‘true to their alliance’. When they voted against alliance members, they _had_ to, to save themselves. Eddie can point out that his head was on the chopping block vote after vote, and he still made it to the end. One might say that that’s only because no one would vote for him, and they had other players that had to go. They can say he’s there only by luck. But people like an underdog, and they might not be willing to to vote for members of their alliance who stabbed them in the back. Thrilled if Cochran wins. Happy if Erik wins. Disappointed about Eddie winning if he does. Dawn? Dude, please don’t let it be her. ---

Dawn winning would annoy me greatly. Sherri winning would annoy me somewhat less. Erik or Eddie winning would generate little more than a meh reaction. I agree Cochrane deserves to win at this point, but also agree the others might be _just_ savvy enough to get rid of him. ---

Erik was dizzy and unsteady when returning from the last Tribal Council, and they called in Medical before they even returned to camp. The medicos determined he was dehydrated and also had a dangerously low blood pressure, so they pulled him from the game. ---

That was a pretty awesome final Tribal Council. I don’t like Dawn, but Brenda’s move was pretty freaking harsh. Made for great television, though! And it was funny how a lot of them didn’t even acknowledge Sherri. Sooo glad that Cochran won. He definitely made the right choice taking Dawn to final 3 instead of Eddie. I think Cochran would have still won against Eddie, but it would have been a bigger risk. ---

Missed the edit window: I don’t know why so many on the jury felt the need to trash Sherri to her face at the Tribal Council. Sure, don’t vote for her — I don’t think she deserved to win, either, but it just seemed like it was sour grapes to feel the need to put her down as well as not voting for her. I thought it was hilarious when Phillip rescinded Sherri’s membership in Stealth-R-Us and the camera panned to Malcolm just laughing his head off. ---

TPTB had to pixelate Dawn’s Mouth as her House of Cards came tumbling down. I wonder what the Mormon think about her potty mouth. My jaws dropped when Eddie started to explain what the IV would do for Erik. ---

Uh, where is the entire cast? I don’t see a full cast in the reunion. I know where Brenda is, but did they not invite the first folks voted off? Like, where is the dude with the beard and the tattoos? And Brandon Hantz? Did he get banned? ---
