Are y’all talking about Brad or Yul? [Brad](http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor13/survivors/bio_brad.shtml) definately sent out a “HELLO! I’M GAAAY!!!” vibe. But he’s not Korean. IIRC he’s half Hawaiian and something else that’s not Korean. [Yul](http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor13/survivors/bio_yul.shtml) is Korean, but I didn’t see enough of him to get any kind of vibe. ---

Three weeks from now, you’ll have the last two players from one tribe left, facing the members of another tribe deciding who to vote out that night, and one of them will say, “Hey, why don’t you tell these guys that same joke you told all of us back on the first night?” ---

Yul is a NorCal guy and is ethnically Korean, so maybe that was who the other folks were talking about, but I meant Brad. ---

[/QUOTE] I _was_ talking about Yul, so now I’m confused 😕 , but that’s nothing new. _Yul_ is the one who hardly said anything _but_ who looks like Daniel Dae Kim, which is _why_ I even know who he is at this point. _Brad_ is part Hawaiian and part Filipino, and now he _doesn’t_ have a headache but he _does_ have a red dot on his forehead. I believe Brad works in fashion in some way, which is why I referred to him as a “Project Runway refugee” earlier. I lurve Brad a little, and I think Yul sure is nice-looking, so either way, I’m aiight. ---

That’s what another board does- gives everyone nicknames based upon what the re-capper sez. :rolleyes: **We** are the SDMB, we set trends- we don’t follow them. Not that there’s anything wrong with an occasional “Jonathan-the-Chicken-Thief” or something, but here, we have 100 times the membership or something and \*any \*Member should be able to drop in and tell who we are talking about without a scorecard. So, if on the Epi 2 thread, you’ll need to re-explain every nickname. If you’re willing to do that, fine, but even so, it’s a bit… So, if there are nicknames, they gotta be nicknames anyone can figure out. Using “Octopus Head (Jessica)” is fine of course, as the () makes it obvious- and we still get the little chuckle out of the nickname. ---
