One person voted for Cindy in Survivor and “Cindy” went missing in “Lost” coincidence, I think not.

I’m for someone telling Gary to watch Judd, probably the same one who told that “sportscaster” her was a professional football quaterback!

Naaah … all Gary did was _watch_. He said it himself: Judd said that Saint Zippy was hidden on the ground, so why was Judd looking in the trees? It’s not like Judd likes nature. Gary’s no fool. And Judd is _not_ subtle.

Understatement of the year. Looked like he was trying to catch rain, only it wasn’t raining, which made him look _dumber_.

That probably wasn’t witty. Need more coffee.

Following Judd seems like an obvious move to me. He knows more about where the idol is than the rest of the Survivors. Following him might lead you to the idol.

If someone did tip Gary off, and I was BJ, I’d be pissed. that’s helping someone survive, and I’m sure that’s against the rules. Gary’s smart, Judd is dumb. I think that’s your explanation.

Which was exactly what he did. When he spied Gary, he immediately lowered his head and started looking around at the ground. It’s a wooded area, but it’s not a tangled jungle. People can see each other from quite a ways away.

So Judd gets the clue to Zippy’s whereabouts (big advantage #1). Makes the smart move, and uses this to mislead his competition (big advantage #2). And _still_ gets beaten out in finding it.

Judd has got to be the stupidest player to ever make the jury.

Once again, props to **middleman** for this week’s rankings and, of course, **rockle** for her usual pithy observations!

One question: Why is Gary still so high up in the rankings? Now that we know he’s got a big old target on his back, do you really think he can win every IC (which, IMHO, is what it would take for him to stay in the game)? If he’s going to survive, he’d better start making some deals, final-four-wise; I mean, we’re already seating the freaking _jury_ , fer chrissakes!

If Judd wins the million (a distinct possibility), I want a seat at a poker table with him! “Hey guys, the idol is…somewhere on the ground! Yeah, that’s the ticket!” After that statement, I’m shocked that **everyone** didn’t start climbing the trees!

STEPH: “Jamie, are you sure you heard Gary right?”
JAMIE: “Definitely…definitely voting against me…yeah…definitely. I’m an excellent survivor”
“Monkeyshit insane?”. Great phraseology, **rockle** , but I think you owe Howlie (and all his relatives) a big old apology. And does anybody think that Jamie would have traded down if he had finished in the top three in reward challenge? That gesture was as empty and hollow as his head! Between that, and Judd’s inviting BJ and Steph to his table–I swear, what passes for strategy this season wouldn’t win a marbles tournament!

::sigh:: :rolleyes:

I miss Jonny Fairplay.

Yeah, I really liked this episode. Gotta love it when Judd gets drunk! Bobby Jon can now die a satisfied man.

I’m still thinking Lydia is in the best position. She’s nobody’s target. The larger group had to have had a back-up plan going into TC, and I’m sure that discussion got editted out on purpose. Gary better start winning some ICs, or he’s toast. I wonder what the super-alliance is among the Steph/Rafe/Judd et all group.

A fair question. A question with three answers:

(1) Momentum. Though the Rich Ratings generally look at ones chances to win the overall game, our panel (me) also consider how well the player did THIS week. Gary pulled his

(2) The Competition. I can’t see anyone else being worthy of the spot. I think Gary has a better chance of winning all of the rest of the challenges than Rafe or Judd do of winning the final vote. Plus, I think there is a distinct chance that Cindy will see that she is the first of the six to go home and pull Rafe and Lydia over to Dannu and Gary to vote off the three headed monster of Judd/Jamie/Steph.

(3) Personal Bias. I like Gary and I want him to win. 🙂

He had it in a small shoulder bag; as he walked back to camp, it wasn’t a natural walk, and I remarked to my wife, “That’s the walk of a man hiding the fact that there’s a large, heavy stone object in his backpack…”

I still think - and nothing we saw last night convinced me otherwise - that Gary, Steph, Rafe, and Lydia are in an alliance of original Yaxhá members. (Jamie was in there too, I think, but now that he’s come unglued, he’s nothing but trouble.) I really think Gary only became a target last night because _Jamie’s a moron who doesn’t understand English._ I don’t even think Jamie’s smart enough to have deliberately misrepresented Gary’s statement.

If not for Saint Zippy, I do think Gary might have been voted out, but I don’t think it’s what anybody really wanted to do. They would have voted him out for the same reason Margaret got voted out, instead of Judd: _You don’t want to piss off the crazy person._ I actually think Jamie’s in more trouble than Gary, and once Jamie loses Earnest he’s out. Two crazy people left at this point in the game is two too many.

Plus, what **middleman** said. And to add to what he said about “The Competition” - this is the point in the game where people lose their minds _(Jamie!)_ or get über-annöying _(Steph!)_ or lose their focus _(Judd!)_. _This is where the fun begins._ Gary’s QB experience will be _very_ helpful now. You can almost see him mentally moving the chains on the field. **BUT.** Gary is well-liked and strong. Typical Immunity Monster fodder. He needs a good alliance and some help from Earnest to go all the way. Hope he does.

**Ethilrist** : I don’t think Gary did have a bag, but I don’t think he had pockets, either, and he (obviously) did have Saint Zippy. He was walking kind of sideways, with his hand behind his back kind of awkwardly. (I thought he was walking like he had just passed gas and didn’t want anybody to notice.) They said last week that Saint Zippy was only 6" high, so I don’t know how heavy he could be (although, what do I know for shit)?

There is almost ALWAYS a flip at this point in the game. Some of the weakest members of the majority alliance always figure that they are better off joining the minority alliance. I think Gary benefits from that.

Gary voted for Cindy.

I think he did so because way back when, he made a deal with the Evil Princess Stephanie to not vote for her. If I remember correctly that is why he voted for Cindy and not Princess Jersey.

Did anyone notice that for about a day, the Evil Princess Steph had a bad eye? It look inflamed like she was bitten by a bug, spider or had an allergic reaction. Too bad it didn’t last longer and swell up to completely cover her eye and then her big fat mouth! Hate that gal almost as much as I hated Rupert.

At this point who do you think smells worse: Jamie or Judd? Jamie walks around camp barefooted, but Judd looks like the type of fat guy that sweats a lot and never bathes.

I don’t recall what pants he wore to TC, but he did, indeed, have pockets when he found Zippy. On this morning’s Early Show, they showed the clip that wasn’t aired on last night’s episode, when Gary actually found the idol in the tree, and he did stuff it in his pocket.
