At least they ditched Redemption Island. That was one of the stupidest ideas they ever had. No returnees, pretty people, same beach. Might just be interesting again. ---

Also, their list is incomplete - it only has 16 names on it. If you don’t want to be spoiled (maybe?) don’t try to match up the introductions with the list. ---

I think Coach and Ozzie weren’t in the initial press intro for the previous season, so they still have wiggle room to “surprise” us with returning contestants. ---

If they want to fix the show they need to get rid of returnees and promise us no more Russell and no more Russell family members ever again. Find people who are smart, sane and not sociopathic or sexist. Ideally not overly religiously preachy would also be a good idea. Last season’s Christianity themed Survivor combined with a Russell family member made me stop watching. ---

I’ve been saying they should do this for years. Everyone lives together but they divide up into tribes for competitions. It’ll add a whole new dimension to the alliances. ---

Well, based on all of this, I’m back in on _Survivor_. This looks great, and minus the two things that have been killing my interest in the show.
