Well, the DIY challenge was kinda lame. I was expecting a challenge like when they had make a rescue signal or build the best shelter. That was basically a regular challenge minus Jeff. Still it’s good to have reward challenges back and hopefully they will get better. The women pretty much deserve to lose now. These challenges have been as nerfed as possible, and the last one wasn’t even close. Then they didn’t vote out their worst player so they could keep a “strong five.” Guess what, the “strong five” strategy doesn’t work if you lose every challenge. Cut your loses, add a new player to the alliance, and move on. Even if they voted out Kat, it would still be 4 to 3. ---

I actually am kind of rooting for the ladies to continue losing. At least until they get rid of all the nasty girls. ---

At least I got know the women tribe a little better tonight. Sabrina - Black girl - really like her Kim/Chelsea Not sure which is which but they are interchangable (they were the ones discussing Kat vs Nina vote just before Tribal. (like them) Alicia - Outspoken gal with shorts up her butt crack (Do not like her) Kat - Younger short hair blonde. Likes to pass gas, Do not like Monica - Older Brunette - Like Her Christina - Asian gal - Not sure, but leaning towards dislike ====== Guys Colton - CANNOT STAND HIM Leif - short guy - Not sure Troyzan/Tarzan Random older dudes - Not sure Sushi Chef - not sure Young guys alliance Bill - Black guy Matt - blond lawyer, Two other younger dudes, not sure of the name (one is the banker that stole the ax from the gals), (Jay and Michael possible names?) I guess Colton is pretending to be with the young dudes while secretly aligned with the older outcasts. I think he is going after Matt. the sooner Colton, Alicia, Kat get off the better. I am afraid that there has been too much screen time devoted to Colton. he is staying for awhile. ---

I’m just waiting for the Mean Girls Meltdown when they have no choice but to stab each other in the back 😃 If Colton can pull off his strategy, I’ll be very surprised. I’m surprised he actually showed the HII to Sushi Chef and whoever else was there at the campfire. He’s annoying, but I’ve known a lot of guys like him, so he doesn’t drive me nuts the way he’s driving other people nuts. The girls, though? Just wait. It’s going to be ugly. ---

Anyone who didn’t see the misfits male alliance coming after Matt’s comment last week about the four in the muscle alliance running the game probably hasn’t seen enough Survivor. It doesn’t take a “genius” like Colton to figure out that 5\>4. ---

You wanna really hate Colton? Watch the deleted scenes on the CBS site. Now that he has shown everybody he has the idol, he has confessionals like “I’m a country club kid. I’ve always had someone to take care of me – me momma, my nanny, my boyfriend. I’m not going to do a thing around camp. Thay can all vote for me and I’ll just use my idol.” One of the buff guys – Mike or Matt – asked him what his plan was for the day and he said “I think I’ll go swimming.” When confronted about this, his answer is just a flippant “You think about you” with a sniff and a fling of his wrist. For someone who claims to be a superfan of the show, he certainly doesn’t have a clue (heh) how to play it. ---

The only one who I like so far is the high school teacher on the women’s tribe. She seems level headed and smart enough to fly under the radar. ---

I figure the guys are safe for about 2-3 more episodes. The girls will continue to melt down, losing challenge after challenge, until eventually the guys decide to throw one to try to eliminate Colton (or his HII), or the producers run a tribe shuffle. I see the latter happening rather sooner than later this season. The girls are just too worthless. ---

They shoulda dumped Kat. WTF, that was the lamest fucking performance in a challenge I’ve ever seen. The first time she jumped off the beam, I thought she might have slipped or misunderstood or something, then the second time … yikes. And “I’ve never tried to do anything I didn’t know I could succeed at”? Yikes. ---

Kat is cute, though, so she should stick around for a bit longer, if only for the sake of eye candy. Did you see the way she was standing before the first challenge? Everybody was in their underwear, and Kat alternated between standing proud and unashamed and cowering with her hands over her boobs. I’d love to see the unedited footage of that, because I’m sure a director kept telling her to stop being such a wimp. ---

I told the SO that the retired cop seems like a beat cop who is used to following orders, and that the teacher is someone who is used to _giving_ orders. I like the teacher. The cop was bugging me with her posturing during TC, with that smug look on her puss. ---

Would this strategy had worked on the balance beam challenge? Person that has to move sits down and then lays down and the player that she has to pass steps right over the player that is lying down. Then the lying down player scoots over. to the next player. Lather Rinse Repeat ---

Maybe. I don’t remember if Jeff said anything about that. The only problem with the strategy is that the other team can see you do it, and copy it. Given that the guys were faster already (at a challenge that should have favored the females), letting them see your trick would be suicidal.
