I stand by what I wrote last week: I hate everyone but Alina and Kelly (I suppose Tyrone and Yve(?) are okay too) and I find myself asking why I keep watching since all of those people are doomed. ---

Why is the Asian girl, who seems like an alright person, pairing up with the Witch of the West? It’s almost too terrible to contemplate the latter sticking around for more than another episode. Why does it seem like everyone has forgotten about the idiot who sank Dan’s shoes? Also it seems like she was a Danny T supporter, and if nothing else this proves she’s bonkers. ---

Naonka sucks so bad. I’m hoping she’s getting a lot of screentime because she’s getting voted out early. Sucks that she has the HII, but maybe that’ll get out and convince people to blindside her. Loving the preview for next week. Hopefully Alina and Kelly will find themselves in a better position. Oh, one thing I thought I should mention: Yve is kinda cute. Didn’t really notice her before. (I previously bashed the older tribe as a bunch of uggos.) These nerfed challenges are truly pathetic. Tonight was the season premiere of RW/RR Challenge, and it was nice seeing a bunch of physically capable people doing ridiculously brutal physical challenges. (Teargas in one, then hand to hand wrestling in another. Woot!) I knew after the intro (before the opening credits) what tribe was going to TC and who would be voted out. Last night’s episode was a yawnfest for me. ---

Casting this year was straight out of the asylum. Hard to really care - in a positive way - about any of them. The continuous din of the ranting and raving gets old very quickly. ---

I don’t like the blind-fold challenges at all. As soon as the Geritol gang started practicing, I knew they were doomed. I am very happy that “Uncle Leo” was voted out. ---

This was indeed one of the dullest episodes ever. I’m hoping this season will get better, but I’m not too optimistic. Though, I did laugh out loud at NaOnka, after she and Brenda found the HII, proudly proclaiming “I’m the one who figured it out!” when minutes earlier she was staring at the clues with no fucking idea until _Brenda_ came along and figured it out. ---

It’s funny that the same thing happened on Tribe Geritol. Jill played the Brenda role and basically GAVE the answer to Marty, Marty STILL couldn’t find it, Jill helped him look and dig, but Marty talks about it as HIS HII. ---

I got a phone call in the middle of the challenge – I gather it wasn’t close. Was there any discussion of why they got skunked despite their practice (which I thought was a good idea, BTW)? ---

Way too early for a merge. Hell only 4 people have been voted off. More like a shuffle. Thank God! Whoever thought that “old” vs. “young” would work. It has been boring as watching paint dry. Maybe mixing them up will make it more interesting. Also Nay is an annoying, entitled, bitch. At least with Russell he was annoying in his camera confessionals, but pretty much played a decent social game. Nay has no social game. ---

They need to get back to two challenges per episode. The combined challenges make the rest of the episode a snoozefest. I do not tune in to hear Naonka’s grating voice or her nasty comments about someone with one leg. I’m fast forwarding most of the episodes of this season as they’ve been either boring or filled with jerkish comments by stupid people. I was ready to celebrate a Russell free season. Now I’m not so sure. ---

I like how Nay referred to Kelly B as a ‘charity’ case. Let’s take a quick look at the profiles: Nay: Occupation: PE Teacher Personal Claim to Fame: Not having any kids at 27! Kelly B: Occupation: Medical Student at University of North Carolina Personal Claim to Fame: Becoming the second and fastest female amputee to finish the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii in 2007.
