He and his brother are like those guys who seem to show up regularly on reality shows, displaying a true sense of entitlement. They use phrases like “in control” and “my game” with absolutely no insight or care about how they might be coming across to others. Convinced that rainbows shoot out their anuses, they blithely blunder along with the doofus grins and pots of confidence. They are convinced you owe them a trophy. ---

My husband and I actually turned to each other when the torch was snuffed and spontaneously high-fived. That was seriously one of the most satisfying blindsides in years. Rocker’s demise last week didn’t even come close to it. ---

Yep, that was totally perfect. So satisfying. Note to reality show contestants: I know you think your plan to throw a competition is genius, but don’t do it. On another note, Jaclyn (who was at exile island with him) is quite the looker. EDIT: Oh, and they should have called that immunity challenge the Bikini Stripper. Just about all of the ladies had their suits ripped off at one point or another. ---

I loved his total denial in the interview during the credits. He said they voted him out because he was sure to win. Yeah. Like “I totally would have won if the other team hadn’t scored more points than I did.” Dude. The early part of the game is still PART OF THE GAME. You got booted in the first quarter. Loser. Unfortunately, the guy reminds me of my son in law. Always working the angles (and the ladies) and, if something does go wrong, can’t own it. It’s always a girl’s fault. ☹ ---

Agreed on the satisfaction of the boot. I do wonder if Jeremy tipped his hand a bit with the talk about “sub-alliances” at TC. Generally a good idea for “students of the game” to hide that facet a bit. Did like the fact that the other men in the tribe (apparently) realized that Drew would go home if they didn’t vote along with him and rather than attempt to agree on another female boot (or the old guy, in Jeremy’s case) just voted however they wanted knowing it wouldn’t be their ass kicked out of the game. Not a terrible idea - don’t rock the boat as long as it isn’t you going home. Now it looks like a shuffle incoming, which will change the whole dynamic and nobody had to make any long-term enemies (except maybe the Jeremy-old guy thing). ---

Well, really only Julie (that’s Rocker’s SO, right?) is in trouble. Especially if there is a tribe shuffle - both tribes have a number of people that don’t like her (either directly or by association). The only other girl targeted was the one whose name I can’t remember (OK, the other one whose name I can’t remember…) that Drew went on a rampage against. ---

Curious. Has anyone else ever thrown a challenge which resulted in them immediately getting voted off? I don’t think so, but I missed a few seasons (3-10 or so). Whatever, that was freaking awesome. It’s like the long-awaited payback of Tony the cop from last season being an idiot, blind backstabber and poor strategist but somehow being able to get away with it all season. ---

The only one that comes to mind was in Pearl Islands, season 7; Burton persuaded his tribe to throw a challenge, and was voted off. I’m not completely sure, but I think all of the other thrown challenges “worked” (in that the the target person was eliminated). At first I thought last week’s challenge-throwing was unique, because Drew appeared to plan and execute it secretly. However, in a [post-show interview](http://www.tvguide.com/News/Survivor-Drew-Exit-Interview-1088101.aspx), he says that Jon and Jeremy were in on it. ---
