Interesting as that may be (in the vein of a train wreck), I’m afraid at this point I have to agree with those calling for no more repeat contestants. I want to see how it goes when there are no ready-made mentors in the game. And Brandon joins Erik(?) in the ignoble pantheon of people who gave away immunity only to be immediately voted off. At this point, I’m torn about the next Redemption challenge, 'cause as much as I’d like to see the upending of Ozzy’s arrogance, I don’t think I can stomach another Brandon victory in God’s name[sup]TM[/sup]. ---

I wonder if Probst does an Edward G. Robinson impression? It would have been great if he had given Brandon a, “Where’s your Messiah now, see?” as he descended the Steps of Shame. ---

So, am I right that the fifth vote was God voting Brandon out? If God really intervenes in a TV game show, then I’d say God was a bit of a jerk toward Brandon. The Big Guy has a wicked sense of humor. ---

Man, for the entire show I just kept thinking STOP TALKING ABOUT GOD ALREADY. At least I can be glad that it looks like Sophie and Rick have formed an alliance since they seem the least likely to mention God at the drop of a hat (Sophie definitely is doing a good job of faking it in those prayer circles, I wonder if anyone’s noticed her rolling her eyes at Tribal). Can we just get 16 atheists for next Survivor? And I suppose that answers my question of _Brandon Hantz: Dumbest Survivor or Genius Survivor?_ I mean, obviously the guy’s a moron, but so many of his moves seemed to work to his advantage because it ruins everyone else’s plans and makes them unsure. I thought this speech to Coach would work great to make sure Coach didn’t vote for him (“I know you won’t vote for me” - if Coach does, then Brandon ruins him at the Jury) but seems Coach is willing to take that risk (and played it well himself by attempting to convince Brandon it’s God’s plan to go to Redemption and take out Ozzy). Ozzy wins if he gets to the final 3. I was thinking Brandon had no chance, but if he beats Ozzy and makes it to the final 3, and can point that he was the only one who played with Honor and Integrity ™, then he could swing it. Coach probably has the next best chance since he’s seen as the cult leader and no one else has made a move. Albert has zero chance IMO. ---

I hope this is the last _Survivor, Evangelical Island_. I’m an atheist, and this is giving religion a bad name. But really, it’s just tiresome. At least Brandon proved himself to be one of the _Survivor Idiot Hall of Famers_. ---

Man this was god day for some reason. After watching tonight’s Survivor I watched tonight’s Inside the NFL, where the Broncos highlights had Tebow mic’ed for sound. Oofa, these Survivor numbskulls are pikers compared to Tebow. ---

Damn, that’s a pretty harsh thing to do God. I mean it wasn’t Coach’s decision, he had to follow God’s orders right. I gotta tell ya, I think Coach played that perfectly. All he had to do was tell Brandon that he was going to pray about what to do and in Brandon’s eyes, Coach is absolved of all culpability. He had an easy out. Though frankly, I would have taken Brandon to the end. ---

That’s a good point, who else would Brandon vote for. Certainly not a woman. Right now, the only person who I think Coach could lose to would be Ozzie. Everyone else is a non-entity. My wife and I joke that Rick wasn’t actually part of this season from the beginning. He just walked into camp one day about midway through and nobody noticed. I had to laugh when Albert was talking about his strategic moves. WHAT MOVES? nobody has made a single strategic move in this game besides Cochran. ---
