While I was surfing yesterday, I came across a post that a person had asked if sushi was safe. I would’nt know how to do any followups on this story. I hope everything is correct, this is my first post. i tried to send the picture to straightdope yesterday, but I found out that they don’t accept pictures, so I figured I had to join to reply to this one. :rolleyes: ---

[Snopes says](http://www.snopes.com/photos/maggots.asp) that these pictures are authentic, but that the brain worm infestation was not caused by eating sashimi. I would also like to add: ewwwwww. ---
