I think I commented similarly in another thread, but the best rap and/or hip hop in recent years, to my ears at least, is coming out of Britain. There are so many tracks and artists that I love. Especially The Streets, who are almost like beat poetry about chav life set over abrasive beats. There’s no ETA yet. She did release a single in November, _Babylon_.
