Well, she’s gonna grow up in a world where the Middle East is even MORE hostile to the US (and most likely, her allies), because of the actions of Bush in Iraq. She is MORE likely to be a victim of a terrorist act, because Bush is more concerned about avenging Daddy and getting Saddam than he is actually finding the people responsible for September 11.
And you sit there, in CANADA, where you have guaranteed health care, while many of us in the US do not. (Myself included). Your schools aren’t being turned into a fucking joke due to No Child Left Behind. Your country’s economy isn’t being turned to shit by this fucker. He’s a fucking JOKE.

Well, I am not quite ‘dread’ yet, although there’s no denying that I’ve been seen better days age-wise. And yes, I am a Spaniard, and a huge Zapatero/PSOE supporter at that.
But beyond that, I fell to the hypnotic charm of no less than two American ladies – well, more actually, but who’s counting? Besides I managed to scape the noose on the other occassion – and as result, I have an only son, a thriving fourteen year old US-born boy residing in Fla. So, just on the off-chance that the draft might be re-instated due to the bumbling chickenhawks that have currently hijacked your country, I have a lot at stake in the upcoming election.
Like hell he’ll become cannon-fodder for your Great leader and his cronies in any future madcap adventure for freedom. Of course, his being a dual US/EU citizen has its advantages. Just hoping I won’t have to plan a raid to get him out of the US if BushCo stays on. Like Danny Glover’s character in Lethal Weapon, I’m getting too old for that shit.
Beyond that, basic human decency compells me to get involved. As many of you are wont to brag about, the US wields an enourmous amount of global power and influence, thus your elections are more and more becoming an almost unavoidable world referendum. And since we’ve already said “no more Bush” in no uncertain terms, I feel it is only my duty to pass along the word – for as little or much as it might be worth.
