Yeah, 1920s Style Death Star (though I’d argue for “Old Republic Style Death Star” if that doesn’t kill the character limit) is definitely an Imperial guild. If we get a reasonable name, I’ll head a Republic adversary, I’ve been planning on playing Miraluka for a long time, so I at least want to start with that. If the winds go the way that, like BDL on WoW, only one faction gets any love, then I’ll switch over no fuss since I’d play Sith eventually anyway. ---

**Skammer** , go ahead and create the guild yourself. I’m much too casual a player to be in charge of it. And **Jragon** should go ahead with the Republic guild. I like both “1920s Style Death Star” and “Burning Womprats”. We can then link them up as adversaries. Once we have a server, we can post it here and in the SDMB guild list thread. I assume we’ll be on a PvE server? I’d prefer it. I’ll have both Repub and Imp characters, having chronic altitus. ---

I made Burning Womp Rats (looked it up on the Star Wars wikia, it’s two words), PvE, English, US West (I just picked one, I’m personally US West but I wasn’t sure what was best so I took a shot in the dark). The Imperial guild didn’t seem to be created yet, so add BWR as an adversary when you get the chance. ---

I tried to create a guild with several versions of “1920s style Death Star” and none were accepted as valid names. I tried 1920s-style Death Star 1920s style Death Star 1920s style Deathstar 1920s style DeathStar I don’t know if “Death Star / Deathstar” is off limits, or if using numerals is the problem. Any ideas? ---

I don’t think numerals are allowed, there are plenty of guilds with Death Star in their name. ---

“Nineteen-twenties style Death Star” doesn’t have the same ring to it. Let’s come up with another name for the Imperial side. “Minions of Cecil” “Fighting Ignorants” “Hi Opal” “Cite?” “Teeming” Eh, someone else has got to be better at this than I am. ETA: Or, frankly, we can stick with just a Republic guild for now and start an Imperial guild after launch if there’s interest. ---

Looks like it’s 24 character limit, and no numerals. How about: Silenced Teeming Millions Darth Cecil’s Minions (or Minions of Darth Cecil) Cecil’s Clone Army Though I still like Fighting Ignorants, is it right for Imperials? ---

Believe it or not, I had actually thought of “We Have Cookies.” I like it too. “The Dark Side Has Cookies” is 25 characters. Drat! I’ll use some version of that to create the guild tonight unless someone is ambitious enough to do it first. ---
