OK, [this one post](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?postid=1568288#post1568288) reminded me of my misspent youth. Actually just when I was young and dumb, which is pretty much the same thing. But I’m a mature responsible adult now, and I don’t do anything like drink or smoke any more. Except when I drink, but I never smoke. So there you go. Anyway I used the word “puke”. Now, as far as words go, it’s OK. It has a nice visceral impact. It’s not pretentious. A fine word. But it’s not the only word I could have used. I could have used, say… Blow chunks. Chunder. Heave. Review past meals. Selling Buicks to Ralph. Spew. (Ssssspeeeeeewwww!!!) Talking on the porcelain phone. The Technicolor yawn. Upchuck. Vomit. Any more? -Rue. ---

I always use “barf”. [Spaceballs moment] “Who are you?” “Baaarf” “Not in here you don’t!” [/Spaceballs moment] I like the colorful phrase “toss a sidewalk pizza”, though I don’t remember to use it very often. ---

Gotta agree with Dave on “kack.” I also like “hork” and “hurl.” But **Silky’s** “yark” just cracked me up. I think it’s my new favorite. 😃 ---

In Korean: “O-bite” Konglish: (I assume) short for ‘over bite’ or ‘over eat’. Koreans do a lot of this (too much soju, but that’s in another thread), I’ll have to ask **Astrogirl** for more expressions for this… there must be many! ---
