Table Sugar - Any Non-Nasty Substitutes?

Yeah, I’m another one who DEFINITELY doesn’t think Splenda tastes like sugar. I can always tell when there’s splenda in something because of the weird aftertaste I get from it. But…yeah, I guess if you really must cut back on sugar it’s better than the alternatives.

I really can’t deal with that aftertaste. If the non-sugar sweeteners don’t work, then I’ll just get used to drinking my coffee unsweet.

Maybe I should just stop drinking coffee…

…and beer

…and stop smoking

…and start exercising…

I hate all sugar substitutes because of the chemical taste, except Splenda. We rarely use real sugar since we started buying Splenda. It’s more expensive but for me it’s worth the price.

I want to know what Fritz thought of Splenda (I think it’s great stuff).

I did try Splenda this morning, and it sort of tasted OK when I was drinking the coffee, but it left a lingering aftertaste. For a couple of hours, it felt as if I had ingested something…wrong…
