Is anyone else watching this mini-series on the Sci-Fi channel?
I’ve been watching since the beginning and I am enjoying it. It has been a little slow in a couple of places, but on the whole, it’s pretty good.
I especially liked the scene in which the implant was extracted from Jesse’s father’s head.
Am I the only person watching this?

Yeah, some other posters are watching it. I believe there’s actually already a thread on it.
Personally I coudn’t get into it. I think I passed my “ufo” phase ten years ago…

I’ve been watching it, too. Fairly good miniseries, given the material they’re working with, although I felt that last night’s “hostage” episode didn’t really work for me.

I have been watching it myself, and enjoying it somewhat.
But 2 freaking hours every weeknight for two weeks makes it hard for anyone to keep up with.
I know they show the earlier eps over and over, but you would have to be really dedicated to keep track. This is a looong mini-series.

I tried to pick it up again, but didn’t have time to catch the repeats and had no clue what was going on. Hopefully they’ll release it on video at some point.

Last night’s hostage episode definitely put me off the bandwagon. I can handle “alien encounters” but I can’t get my mind around all those funky powers manifesting all at once, apparently out of nowhere. I like my sci-fi to have a scientific edge, and last night’s episode totally lacked that.
However, I did think the part with the girl running across the busy street was kinda cool 😉
