Since @bobot admits it was probably him, we’ve all put him on ignore. We’re also planning ways we can make fun of his username. Probably should have done that before the ignore thing.

A nitpick, the SDMB’s inimitable way of saying “welcome back”.
Hey, some of us cared enough to send PM to the concerned, thankyouverymuch. 
But yeah, snark is probably the more traditional welcome.
You should take it as a compliment that I found myself missing you after only a few weeks.
But I may make a habit of taking the occasional vacation. Absence, Heart, Fonder et al.
Sometimes, a (relatively) short pause is all that’s needed. Welcome back.
Oh, and bumping this to say it was good to see @k9bfriender popping back in to post after 10 months!
We may not always agree (which is good) but I enjoy seeing smart posters come back to share.

I said in the other thread, I’ve read several of your threads, today, K9. I find you wholly enjoyable to to read. Your threads about your dog are all sweet and beautiful.
I hope you return and just ignore the toxic butt heads.
There’s not one thing I can see that makes you not worth having on the board and engaging with. You are an asset to this place. We need your POV.

Stay the hell away from the gender wars threads; they were toxic BS 20 years ago and are no better today. The usual hate-filled warriors on both sides love to ride their respective hobby horses but none of the rest of us are better for reading their drivel.
I admit to occasionally adding my pain to those threads, but I’m not proud of my participation.
Last post 3 days ago, last seen 3 days ago. I think he has gone back on hiatus (possibly to render more canine beef).
