Can some techy person check if the Tapatalk plugin is working fom your side? SDMB is the only forum I read that’s not working on the app right now. Merci! ---

I’m going to blame your app: maybe in the process of updating the app, it’s gotten confused about what is cached and what isn’t? (I have no idea how Tapatalk actually works, mind you, this is a complete guess.) I’d try forcing the app to quit and/or hard rebooting your device and see if that fixes it. ---

Also, if neither of those work, uninstall the app, power cycle the device and the reinstall it. If that doesn’t work, then something is wrong with either your version of the app and/or the version of Tapatalk the SDMB is currently running. ---

That worked. Uninstalled and reinstalled. People are complaining in reviews for the app about the app not working with their forums, so it must be happening here and there. Thanks. ---

Things like this are why I wait to update my heavy use apps (like Tapatalk or Pulse). A bit ago, I saw Tapatalk had an update and went to the reviews to see an unending list of pissed off users. It’d be nice if there was an option to roll back an update if you hate it. ---

The first most recent update had no way to quote anyone. Talk about a pain in the ass. Then with the latest upgrade to fix the bugs, that’s worked out and you can now also use the old layout. ---

It was after I installed that update that I noticed the quirky behavior with this site. Deleting and reinstalling made it all better… 😃 ---

On another forum I frequent, everything I post using Tapatalk it posts the thread title in bold at the top of my reply. However you can’t see this if you’re actually using Tapatalk! So I’m wondering if its doing it here. If it is I’m relying on everybody else to tell me. And is it doing it with other Tapatalk user’s posts? It was on the other forum, but perhaps this forum is different. ---

I’ve often wondered why. Now, I’ll assume it’s a Tapatalk thing. Thanks! ---

Tapatalk seems much slower than using the browser - especially the Participated threads. ---

Tapatalk returning to me “network error, refresh to try again” for the last 2 days, shows the subject lines as of Wednesday but will not update. iPhone version on ATT. ---

We haven’t changed anything. I’ll see if I can get Xash to take a look at things, he’s our Tapatalk expert.
