According to Tivo, my newspaper, and the Yahoo TV listing – my CBS affiliate is showing tonight’s episode twice, at 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Too good to be true for us early-to-bed’ers. Anybody else? ---

I got all excited, but apparently we only get the 10:00 showing in my neighborhood. But the TV Guide says … The teams travel to Italy and must reconstruct broken statues to find a clue. They must also locate a marked item of clothing among 2400 pieces of laundry during a Detour. One pair gets lost on the way to the Roadblock and ends up at the Pit Stop instead. Regarding that last sentence … [spoiler]Will that incur a time penalty even if they turn around and go do the Roadblock? I imagine Phil would just say “Hey, morons, you missed something.” (Only nicer, but that’s what the _eyebrow_ will say.) I seriously doubt they’ll be given an option to just wait out four hours and hope they’re still in it, right? And who’s it going to be? I’m betting on the Danis or Lake & Michelle. Frankenberry are too good with maps to get _that_ lost.[/spoiler] ---

You guys, I have a dilemma. “American Idol” is only on for an hour tonight, so I have an opportunity to go to bed at 9pm. Should I do it, or stay up and watch the Race? I really really really want to watch the Race, but I get so cranky the next morning … oh, who am I kidding? I’m stopping for Dew on the way home. Never mind … ---

Pshaw, _my_ husband falls asleep by 8:30 and gets PO’d that he missed _NCIS_, so I have to be sure to tape that for him. He’s ooooold. 😉 What will we do when we’re on _TAR_ together and Killer Fatigue hits you as we cruise into Moscow, huh? What are we gonna do then? I’ll be screaming at you, “C’mon, **rockle** , it’s the Chinchillas or Floatillas Roadblock. Who’s going to do it?!? You or me?” 😃 ---

I’m such a _troll!"_[/li][li]6:16am - 6:20am – Basketball highlights on SportsCenter, even though we _hate_ basketball and, in 90% of cases, _there was no actual basketball game played in the preceeding 24 hours_[/li][li]6:20am – Leave for work[/li][li]6:21am - 6:59am – Sit in traffic[/li][/ul] This cycle repeats even if I go to bed as soon as I get home from work; no matter what I do, I can’t get out of bed any earlier or easier. In fact, believe it or not, we actually seem to sleep worse in my house when we go to bed early, because we are outnumbered by the cats, and they are the absolute worst creatures on Earth to sleep with, because they’re hot and the steal the covers and they like to lay on our faces and at least two of them _snore_ (the other one snores _and_ whimpers in his sleep). Plus, I do like to post while I’m watching. I honestly don’t know how you guys can watch and post. I mean, the Race requires close attention to detail at an obsessive level in order to catch all the nuances of everything said/done/shown. And even then I still miss stuff, like I totally didn’t catch the big light-up PHIL sign last week. Bad Mama! Your morning sounds exactly like mine used to, Rockle, when I had to get up in the morning on a schedule. Which is one big reason why these days I work out of my house. Life really doesn’t get any sweeter than when you wake up because you want to, not because you have to. Of course, my payment for my sins in a past life is that I’m married to a man who thinks it’s FUN to get up and go out and do stuff at 6 am. Fortunately, he’s also not stupid; it took less than a week of marriage for him to realize that if he ever, EVER tried to suggest that to me again, he would find himself divorced in short order. 😃 Anyway, since this is a thread about TAR, so who do we think will go tonight? I’m expecting the Danis, but my fondest hope would be Team Gonad. The sooner we don’t have to hear any more of their crudeness, the happier I’ll be. ---

I think we can safely assume that the CBS promo monkeys are doing their usual job of misdirection and failure to actually show anything of significance. I’m going to assume the Nerds are safe until we’re shown them doing something spectacular on a promo, at which time it’s time to start worrying. ---

I can’t do it. I just can’t stay up tonight. I don’t have the 7pm option (and it wouldn’t even be an option in this house anyhow, what with the toddlers and all) and I got three (3) hours of sleep last night, thanks to one of the aforementioned toddlers. I’ve been up since 2:30am (and **up** up, like doing stuff the whole time). This 10pm stupid freakin’ time slot is going to kill me. I don’t have a stupid TiVo or anuything, either. I wish I did. It would have made the long, long overnight a little better. Crap. Well, I’ll watch as much as I possibly can and hope the for the best.
