Awwwww…omni-not, come here and let me give you a great big hug. That’s the sweetest thing anyone has said to me on this board. I am actually weeping. Awwwwwww.

Pity me **Tatertot**.

I’m in a cavernous pit of debt. I have Thanksgiving off for the first time in 7 years. (I did not want Thanksgiving off, I wanted to make some easy dough) Both my knees hurt all to be damned. My bald head does not yet look sinister like I’d hoped, but makes me look like I’m getting chemotherapy. And, dammit, I can’t get any lovin’!

And I still can’t spell or use correct punctuation.

I don’t think I’m _that_ flexible, tater! I have, however, seriously been considering joining a convent. And by seriously, I mean for about two minutes, before I started pining away for this guy again. It’s like four years worth of repressed teen angst and giddiness are bubbling up at once… \<sigh\> I’m off to work on my unrequited-love-CD-mix. I’ve got to get it done before Sunday, so I can focus my attention on feeling bad for you guys. 😉

tater, one big ol’ e-hug coming up: {{{{{tater}}}}}

- if anyone wants to feel sorry for me, well, I’ve had to get out of bed at two o’clock in the friggin’ morning today & yesterday. Yesterday, admittedly, was the worst - when we arrived (at 03:00) at the network node we were going to move, some cretin had managed to lock the one door that nobody had a key for. After calling the nightwatch, the superintendent and whoever else we could think of, we went back to our hotel at about 05:30, having done very little constructive work.

Today, same procedure - only we had to do double the amount of work in our 03:00-06:00 service-window. It would have been possible, if we hadn’t had to rewire more or less every connection on our own, because the alleged professional couldn’t read a wiring lay-out. Sheesh.

So now it’s 18:20 and I’ve been on my toes for about 16 hours, worked a twelve-hour day and driven from Frankfurt to Hamburg afterwards. Somebody better pity me!

My art history prof. called my house last night while I was busy failing my javascript lab exam.

I spoke with her after class and she set up a meeting for this afternoon to discuss the essay I just wrote.

The absolutely horrid essay I wrote.

During the time I should have been writing it, stuff was happening… bad stuff and lots of it.

I thought about asking for an extension but wanted to get it over with so I could start on all my other crapolla. Well, that and I knew I still wouldn’t have time.

…and I’m afraid that if I tell her all the stuff that happened, it’ll sound made up… because trust me. There is a lot of it and it is BAD.

But anyway… looks like it’s time to go.

I can’t decide what to do with the rest of my life. I’m finished with my upgrading next week, and should be applying for university right away, but I have no CLUE what to do.

Feel sorry for me. At least tater has an interesting job…

Can you feel bad for me? I’ve been in bed with the flu since Sunday and, apart from one foray to “work” to post to the Board on Monday, I did not leave my room until today. That’s four days with no SDMB (damn my one-way home phone). That deserves anyone’s pity, huh?

1. Martha Stewart. Nobody really likes her.
2. Janet Reno. Ditto.
3. Kathleen Harris. Have a holly jolly Christmas, Kathy.
4. Tipper Gore. Talk about the suspense killing you. What’s she supposed to do about her Christmas card list? Should she send expensive Christmas cards to people as “the future Mrs. President” or cheap ones as “the former Mrs. Vice-President”?
5. Britney Spears. Her 15 minutes are about up. Poor baby. :rolleyes:
6. Whoever Charlie Gibson’s co-host on _Good Morning America_ is this week. Too bad she can’t get a real job.
7. Hilary Rodham Clinton. Okay, so she won. But now she has to go to work. Bummer.
8. Callista Flockhart. Just on general principles.
9. Oprah Winfrey. Poor little rich girl, boo-hoo.
10. The Wal-Mart checkout clerk who failed to put eleven dollars worth of rechargeable batteries INTO the bag, so that we got home and they weren’t there, and we went back and Wal-Mart basically told us, “Tough rocks.” Pity her, because it must be terrible to have to go through life and be so clueless, not to mention having to work at Wal-Mart.
