# TDOT'S Road Construction Is Evil!!!!!

I’m calmer now. 🙂 However, I have to drive into Brentwood and back tonight, so we’ll see how long that lasts.
Here’s the thing: road construction is necessary, yes, but so much of it seems so badly planned here. If I-40 westbound is under construction, another way you can go is White Bridge/Woodmont. BUT… last week, THAT was under construction at EXACTLY THE SAME TIME. It is just not that hard to look at a map and say, “Gee, this is the way everyone will be trying to go if I-40 is a mess. Maybe we shouldn’t have IT down to one lane on the SAME DAY!!!”
