Yeah, I’ve seen neighborhoods like that in Detroit and Cleveland. We call them postage stamp yards and talk about mowing them with Remington razors. 40’ X 60’ lots with 30’ X 40’ houses plus garage, driveway, and sidewalks.

Just measured our lawn. Turf areas (not counting house or drive) are as follows:
Front yard: 72’ X 87’ = 6,264 sq. ft.
Back yard: 66’ X 75’ = 4,950 sq. ft.
Total area:0000000=11,214 sq. ft.
Two of the other houses are roughly the same size with the third being a corner lot and quite a bit larger.
