# Teach me to link properly!

I’ve NEVER ever EVER learned how to link something to something else (a word/phrase to a web addy, for instance). Would somebody take pity on my pour soul and teach me to link properly?🙂

It’s pretty simple.
You just hit “Post Reply,” and then the button which says “http://” A box will come up in which you can type the words you want to appear, such as “Here’s a link.” The next box will be the one in which you put the address of the link. You’ll see the URL code appear in your message, but when you Preview, you should just see it as the words you chose to put in the first box underlined.

Click on the reply button to this thread.
Up above the box you are typing in… you will see a series of buttons.
B I U Size Font Color
Http: // @ img etc…
Click on the “http://” one.
A box will pop up…for you to enter the words you want to hyperlink. (As I did in my first sentence…using the word “links?”)
Click ok.
The next box that pops up…is for the actual hyperlink. I used [www.google.com](http://www.google.com)
Give it a try.
