[Red Cross calling for computer donations and tech help.](http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/showtell/story/0,23008,3347294,00.html) Assuming that link works (since I never preview), all of the computer geeks out there who’ve thought their services were not called for would be WRONG. I’m still [blogging the living hell out of this mess](http://www.geocities.com/itomasello/links.html), including to try to find volunteering links and stuff like that.

If you WANT to help you probably CAN…it’s just a question of finding out how.

Hama, is there anythingthose of us who can’t give a computer, but who can give time and such, can do? After a 2:30 appointment today, I’m totally free until Monday.

I am not a relief worker, but I would recommend calling the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Goodwill, or a local religious organization to see if any of them have numbers you can call with offers to volunteer. I’m sure they’re out there, in spades.

As I go I’m trying to find sites that are helpful as well as informative but it is slow going.

@#%^%!!! distance and apathetic administration at our company.

I work for a telco. I think we need to send a crew and a bunch of our equipment. The pathetic company administration looks at me with blank cow eyes and why expressions.

Of course, we have no way to get there other than fly…
