I’ll add my praise, too. You’ve done so much, from the SDMB men’s pages, planning the Vegas trip and the banner. Don’t let some of these people get you down. However, I also realize that at least part of your frustration has nothing to do with the SDMB. Regardless, take the time off, go out and do something relaxing, and realize that you have friends and allies here! ---

I’d like to be another person saying thanks to techchick for all she’s done. So many people here just visit this board and take, techchick’s one of the few who has repeatedly done things for this board. It’s maddening how petty twits turn the gifts she’s given us back against her. ---

Why dont you come out to the east coast for a few days? Seriously. Me and Angie could fight over who gets to host you, and we could go to the beach get some lobster, or a big old pot of fresh clams & mussels! Really Liz, it is beautiful out here, and I’ll let you use my computer, and I’ll take you to my work so you can meet Mike, he can tear a phone book in half with his bare hands!! You did a great thing techie, and even if it slowed my computer to a crawl, I wouldnt be so crass and selfish as to complain. Crimeny, thats like sitting in the park, and complaining that the veteran memorial statue is blocking your sun. ---

Where’s Coldfire when you need him? If the pests are wreaking havoc, we need a skilled and dedicated exterminator to control them. As Wally’s understudy, I reckon “Coldy” is just the man! Seriously, you know when someone is hurting bad when they make a post like the one I read from techchick. It just proves what a fallacy the old “sticks and stones” adage really is. Words do indeed cut deep. I just hope the Great God of all things electronic ensures that the toerags responsible suffer a hard drive crash or motherboard melt-down. ---
