# Technical Problem With My Smoke-Out Topic

Perhaps I’m missing something, but I can’t see a link to the last page of my [Smoke-Out](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=23199&pagenumber=1) topic on MPSIMS. I can see links for pages 1 through 6, but 7 isn’t showing up. I have to change the number at the end of the URL in the address window to get to that page.
Or am I just blind?
Is that thread too long? Should we do what you did with the “Ask The Gay Guy” thread in GD?
Thanks for checking into this. That thread’s been too inspirational and well-received for people to miss postings in it because it’s too big and later pages aren’t showing up as links.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you didn’t fix it, and it just showed up all of a sudden, perhaps there’s an explanation? A way to avoid that happening on future long threads?

There seems to be something wrong with the post count. When I looked, it had 299 posts which should have meant the last post was at the end of page 6 but it was actually the first on page 7.
I just posted to it which made the 300th post and mine is the second on page 7, but at least the 7 is now showing up.
Looks like the tech guys need to look at why the count is off.

I vaguely recall seeing something on this already, I’ll kick it over to Jerry.
But I should also warn you that 350 posts is getting kinda long, even for here. Maybe you should start considering Part Two.
