I noticed a poster who shall remain nameless was recently banned with 2 posts. One of which was a fairly innocuous thread starter in IMHO, the other of which seems to have been lost and may have been the post of infamy. My question is thus: for a poster to be banned so forthwith, I always assume them to be a previously banned poster attempting a triumphant return to notoriety. Is there some mechanism by which vB notifies the Admin that a banned IP has just re-registered? or is it only after some other behavior catches the attention of someone in charge that the perpetrator is caught? ---
