# teemingmillions.com pictures: AWOL

I’ve just been looking over the profiles at [teemingmillions.com](http://teemingmillions.com), and in at least half of the profiles supposed to have pix in them, the pix do not display. Instead of writing to **Opalcat** (what could she do about it, anyway? Nothing), all I can do is mention it here. You folks with the nonfunctional pictures, you know who you are. Or, more likely, you don’t know who you are. If you put a link to your picture in your profile, would you please take a moment to make sure it actually displays?
Also, a gentle hint of advice: a few pix came out with the proportions stretched out wrong. This was the result of resizing to 150x150 without paying attention to proportions. If you would like help with resizing your pix using Adobe Photoshop or Paintshop Pro, please e-mail me. Or else mail me your original pix and I’ll resize them for you and get the proportions to come out right.

Coincidentally, pictures at [the People Pages](http://www.geocities.com/sdpeoplepages/) are not displaying, either.

I don’t know what’s gone wrong with my computer in the past couple days. A lot of the little image files (e.g. buttons, smilies) don’t display. A lot of bigger ones don’t display either. Both Netscape and Internet Explorer are refusing to connect to web pages, seemingly at random.

Yeah, I’ve been noticing that, too. I just figured it was something with my computer but apparently not…
None of the Dopefest pics on the main page show up, and it’s pretty random about which pics of the members display (though not many of them seem to be displaying).
Like I said, I thought it was just my 'puter, but now I’m curious…

There’s some new rule about linking to images on geocities from outside domains - it’s been discussed at length on other message boards. I’ll see if I can track down one of the threads.
