Acupola things. Firstly, the guys most famous for You Sexy Thing, Hot Chocolate, has this tearjerker, [Emma](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vPu_nrzgSU) which I think may have be covered by a rock band. Secondly, whenever somebody mentions the song Patches, [I think of a totally different overwrought song.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvfsfS6NVUc) No teens die in it though, so I was scratching my head for a while over its inclusion in this thread. ---

Another “always missed”: Dead Man’s Curve The XKE didn’t make it. And no, Jan Berry’s fatal\* crash did NOT occur at the curve. - - it took something like 38 years, but, yes, his death was the result of the crash. ---
