Cool! I drive a mini-van and when I first got it, it had some pick up and go. Not a lot I donā€™t think, but enough that my husband was suprised. Iā€™m not good at sites, but itā€™s a 96 Mazda MPV. Maybe Dog80 can find it for me since he seems to have a hot finger for car sites right now. šŸ˜‰ Anyway and this is a slight hijackā€¦ I am a bit goofy for those of you who donā€™t know me, and I am always seeing things on the road on other cars that I come home and tell my husband I want. So far I havenā€™t gotten my curb feelers, fuzzy dice, fringe, shag on my dash board, or neon lights (tires, under, or inside). He is such a party pooper! He wonā€™t even let me paint it all day-glow like a VW Micro bus! Nor can I do the Partritch/Daddy daycare treatment to it. So, after reading this thread I now feel the urge to get a bumble bee thing, a Type-R sticker, and some nifty chrome stuff! (heā€™s very used to my technical terms) Think heā€™ll go for that? šŸ˜ƒ ---

Well donā€™t try street racing in Argentina. That ā€œactivityā€ used to be tolerated by the police, after all kids were just having funā€¦ in 2001 a prepared honda civic crash from behind another car killing a teacher and her one year old child. Last year the idiot instead of being setenced to the traditional comunity service was charged with intentional murder and thus he got I belive 12 years. All people who participates in this kind of things should be euthanized, including the op.- ---

I believe there have been some extreme versions in Japan, featuring more than 150 hp and 4 wheel drive. However, most of the back pressure in a street car comes in at the catalytic converter, so in reality a big muffler doesnā€™t do much. You might pick up ten or twenty horse, but mostly itā€™s just an annoying way to fake having a bigger engine. Track racers will modify their cars by simply running pipe straight from the engine to the sides, resulting in ungodly noise levels and a real (though still moderate) increase in power. This is presumably where people started getting the idea, along with the basic caveman ā€œLOUD GOOD!ā€ meme. ---

Still no word from him on the new modifications I want. šŸ˜ƒ I did find a cool picture of my kind of van that someone won an award for the sound system they installed. It was pretty cool. I was suprised when I got my van to find it has six speakers in it. Which I blew two of them in the first month of owning. Before I got the van I had never owned a vehicle with more than three speakers so to me six was way cool.
