I kind of liked **Sanctuary** until they killed off the daughter and replaced her with one of the top five most annoying characters in the history of TV. I liked **Earth: Final Conflict** until the fifth season, which stunk more than any season of any previously good show in the history of TV. I liked **Stargate SG-1** until Richard Dean Anderson faded out of the picture. ---

I liked **House** until House did it with Cuddy. I liked **Cheers** until Sam did it with Diane. I liked **The Big Bang Theory** until Leonard did it with Penny. I liked **The Office** until Michael did it with Holly. You get the idea. Once the sexual tension was removed, a large part of what made the shows interesting just went away. I wouldn’t say that I disliked the shows post-coitus, but they were just not the same and not as fun. ---

I thought Sheldon and Wolowitz getting girlfriends would be the death of this show but they bring a lot to the table. Leonard and Penny fucked, but there is still sexual tension there. Shows need to evolve, the dynamic you fell in love with has to change to be believable. Or would you rather everyone on Big Bang Theory stay in stasis marooned on an island with coconut radios unable to fix a hole in the boat? ---

I liked The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air until magic!new mom showed up. I liked Family Matters until magic!new mom showed up. I liked Growing Pains until ratings bait baby sibling was magically aged up. I liked Family Ties until ratings bait baby sibling was magically aged up. I liked Diff’rent Strokes until it was uncancelled and moved from NBC to ABC. I liked Scrubs until it was uncancelled and moved from NBC to ABC.
