There was one where Frank was in temporary command and insisted they move because “the ‘M’ stands for ‘Mobile’!” (Or was that the one with the drill? 😕 ) ---

_Fridays_ (a late-night sketch comedy show), which originally (like _Saturday Night Live_) started before midnight and ran well after midnight, later moved to a later time slot, so it was in fact entirely on Saturday. ---

Currently there is a top-40 oriented syndicated radio show entitled the Kidd Kraddick show. Every AM, three chipper (and quite funny) hosts do their thing for 3, 4 hours, none of them named Kidd Kraddick. Who died in 2013. But still has an ongoing show. ---

But that’s actually a good thing. Most episodes are quite good because they aren’t trying to pursue the plot, they’re about creating comedy. I can re-watch almost any episode and laugh at something. Some of them are incredibly creative and entertaining. They pretend that there is character development occurring over time but in reality the characters are the same self-centered and immature people they started out as. Overall the show had excellent writers, decent to outstanding performances, and it could have stood on it’s own without the time wasted on the mother plot. ---
