Thinking of Brewer’s Art makes me miss Baltimore (Hopkins, '06). I lived in a house at the east end of the Charles Village neighborhood for my junior and senior years and didn’t get stabbed a single time. Didn’t have any problems at all, actually. I did know more than a couple of people who got robbed one way or another, plus there was that whole samurai sword thing a couple of years back. If I had a good reason to move back to Baltimore I’d definitely consider it; I enjoyed my time there and it’s not nearly the horror story some make it out to be. ---
