Chuckwalla State Prison? Is that the one your gonna consider? There’s a reason why they’re paying much more…their supply of money has to be high to fill the demand of doctors needed because the place is a low desert ag community that has no life. I actually went to vacation in Blythe (against my will) at the ripe old age of 6. The only way it was considered a vacation spot to me and my family was that we were living a scant 60 miles west of there in the “mining town” of Eagle Mountain (more like a glorified labor camp), which is now a ghost town (and was also used recently to house inmates). So, you can see a point of view of what it takes to make Blythe an attractive place. I think you will be sorely disappointed living there. You can punish yourself there if you want, but I feel the family will suffer overall if all of you relocate there.
