Too many trees! If I can co-erce a neighbor to cut down his dead tree it might work, otherwise the dish is going to be on a pole in my side yard. Ugh. Not too happy about that, but I do know that I don’t want cable.
Now I’m calling to have the yard marked.
Actually our local weather channel disappeared altogether - one day I went to that channel, and there was a message saying the service had been discontinued. No other info. So I’m still annoyed with Dish even though we don’t have them anymore :).
I can get the info I need from the computer, it’s just not as convenient.
MissTake, just dress the pole up in clothes and tell folks it’s a scarecrow ;).
My only real complaint with Dish Network is the lag time on the DVR. Surfing through the channels is a chore, because it takes about two to four seconds for the next channel to appear. In some cases, it’ll take ten or fifteen seconds from button press to channel change.
