I love Bombay Sapphire. It’s pretty great. For me, it tastes a bit “piney” but its still good.
Gin is scary though. You gotta mix it just right or it is simply horrible.

Burnett’s is probably the best buy for G+T’s- we have it at $12, I think. Martin Miller’s is pretty damned good straight up or in a martini. Any one ever had Old Raj? I loved the little illustrations on the side- shooting a tiger in the bush! Time for Old Raj straight up! Relaxing on the verandah- time for Old Raj and tonic. What I didn’t understand was why it was $72! It sat on the shelf for 3 years before someone finally bought it.

I’ve had Old Raj, buddy of mine from college stepfather had owned a bar at one point and time a long time before us and his mom’s basement was stuffed full of what was left the day they closed the doors. There was a dusty bottle of unopened Old Raj and I was in a major gin mode at the time so we pooched it. Nothing special, a softer version of Gordons I’d say. Same flavor, less rubbing alcohol tang.
It was nothing compared to the unopened bottle of 90 proof Jack that was hiding down there. Now that was something.
