I just wanted to mention this really random quirk in the music selection at the Planet Fitness that I go to. Virtually all of it is from the past five years. Heck, “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga came on when I went tonight, and it struck me as one of the older selections. But, for some oddball reason, Rancid’s “Ruby Soho” keeps popping up. I’m not complaining or anything. It’s just hearing this 20-year-old tune floating around a playlist so slavishly modern defies reason. ---
